At GoWeekends, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines our procedures for booking cancellations and refunds to ensure fairness for both our users and GoWeekends directly.

This policy applies to all bookings made through our platform, including individual and corporate bookings.

Note: Cancellation timing is calculated from the scheduled start time of your experience, not from the booking date.

3. How to Cancel Your Booking

3.1 Online Cancellation

  1. Log into your GoWeekends account
  2. Navigate to "My Bookings" section
  3. Find the booking you want to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel Booking" button
  5. Confirm your cancellation request
  6. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email

  • Reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)

4. Refund Processing

4.1 Processing Timeline

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Net Banking: 3-5 business days
  • UPI/Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • Razorpay: As per payment gateway policy

4.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for booking. We cannot process refunds to different accounts or payment methods for security reasons.

4.3 Service Charges

  • 72+ hours: No service charges
  • 48-71 hours: ₹50 processing fee may apply

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Weather-Related Cancellations

  • Full refund if experience is cancelled due to severe weather
  • Alternative dates will be offered when possible
  • Safety is our top priority - no penalties for weather cancellations

5.2 GoWeekends Cancellations

  • 100% refund if GoWeekends cancels the experience
  • Additional compensation may be provided for inconvenience
  • We will assist in rebooking similar experiences
  • Priority booking for future experiences

5.3 Medical Emergencies

  • Medical certificate required for emergency cancellations
  • Case-by-case review for refund eligibility
  • May qualify for full or partial refund regardless of timing

5.4 Force Majeure Events

In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will provide full refunds or credit vouchers for future use.

6. Group Bookings

  • Same cancellation policy applies to all group members
  • Partial group cancellations are allowed
  • Group organizer is responsible for communicating changes
  • Individual refunds processed separately
  • Minimum participant requirements may affect the experience

Corporate clients may have customized cancellation policies based on their agreement:

8. No-Show Policy

Important: No-shows (failure to attend without prior cancellation) are not eligible for any refund. The full booking amount will be forfeited.

  • Grace period of 15 minutes for late arrivals
  • Contact GoWeekends immediately if running late
  • No refund for no-shows, regardless of reason
  • Future booking privileges may be affected

9. Modification vs. Cancellation

9.1 Date/Time Changes

  • Subject to availability and GoWeekends approval
  • May incur additional charges
  • Easier than full cancellation and rebooking
  • Same cancellation policy applies to new date

9.2 Participant Changes

  • Name changes allowed up to 24 hours before
  • Age/skill level restrictions must be met
  • Additional charges may apply for upgrades
  • Group size changes subject to availability

10. Dispute Resolution

If you're not satisfied with our cancellation decision:

  1. Contact our customer support team first
  2. Provide all relevant documentation
  3. We will review your case within 2-3 business days
  4. Escalation to management if needed
  5. Final decision will be communicated in writing

11. Credit Vouchers

In certain situations, we may offer credit vouchers instead of cash refunds:

  • Valid for 12 months from issue date
  • Can be used for any experience on our platform
  • Transferable to other users
  • Cannot be converted back to cash
  • May include bonus value for inconvenience
