Welcome to GoWeekends. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
2. About GoWeekends
GoWeekends is a digital platform that organizes and provides curated weekend activities and experiences. We directly organize and manage all experiences offered on our platform.

3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
3.2 Account Responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Update your information to keep it current
- You are liable for all activities under your account
4. Platform Usage
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use our Platform to:
- Browse and search for experiences
- Make legitimate bookings
- Communicate with our experience coordinators
- Manage your bookings and profile
4.2 Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Use the Platform for illegal activities
- Provide false or misleading information
- Interfere with Platform functionality
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Use automated systems to access the Platform
- Harass or abuse other users or our staff
- Post inappropriate content or reviews
- Circumvent our booking and payment systems
5. Booking Terms
5.1 Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to availability
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment
- You will receive a booking confirmation via email
- Group bookings may have additional requirements
5.2 Pricing and Payment
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Prices may include applicable taxes and fees
- Payment is processed through secure third-party providers
- We may charge additional service fees
- Corporate bookings may have different pricing terms
5.3 Booking Modifications
- Modifications are subject to availability and our policies
- Additional fees may apply for changes
- Some bookings may not be modifiable
- Contact customer support for modification requests
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Standard Cancellation Policy:
- • 72+ hours before: 100% refund
- • 48-71 hours before: 50% refund
- • Less than 48 hours: No refund
6.1 Cancellation Terms
- Cancellations must be made through your account or customer support
- Refund processing may take 5-10 business days
- Some experiences may have different cancellation policies
- Weather-related cancellations by GoWeekends result in full refunds
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds
6.2 GoWeekends Cancellations
- Full refund if GoWeekends cancels the experience
- Alternative dates may be offered
- We will assist in rebooking similar experiences
- Additional compensation may be provided for inconvenience
6.3 Custom Trip & Multi-Day Tour Cancellations
Custom trips have different cancellation terms due to advance planning and coordination:
- • 15+ days before departure: 80% refund
- • 7-14 days before departure: 50% refund
- • 3-6 days before departure: 25% refund
- • Less than 3 days or no-show: No refund
Custom trips require advance vendor bookings (hotels, transportation, guides). Non-refundable portions paid to third-party vendors cannot be refunded regardless of cancellation timing.
7. Organized Trips & Weekend Experiences
For pre-planned weekend experiences and organized group trips listed on our platform, the following specific terms apply:
7.1 Booking and Payments
Important Payment Terms:
- • The advance payment is non-refundable under any circumstances
- • Full payment must be made prior to trip commencement
- • Pending payments may result in trip cancellation
7.2 Travel Requirements
- Valid Government-issued ID proof is mandatory for boarding
- No boarding will be entertained without valid ID
- Transfer of bookings is not permitted
- Only the names provided at confirmation will be allowed to travel
- Participants must be registered at the time of booking
7.3 Refunds and Inclusions
- No refunds will be provided for any unused inclusions or services during the trip
- This includes meals, activities, accommodation, or transportation not utilized
- Partial trip completion does not entitle participants to partial refunds
- All inclusions are provided as a package and cannot be individually opted out
7.4 Luggage and Belongings
- Travelers are solely responsible for their luggage and belongings
- The management will not be accountable for any lost or stolen items during the trip
- We recommend carrying minimal valuables and using locks for luggage
- Travel insurance covering theft and loss is strongly recommended
7.5 Travel Conditions
- Air conditioning will be switched off in the hills for safety reasons
- The driver has discretion to switch off AC during uneven or challenging routes
- This is a standard safety practice in mountain driving
- Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited during the journey to ensure safety and comfort of fellow travelers
- Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund
7.6 Departure and Punctuality
Punctuality Requirements:
- • Travelers must report to the pickup point 30 minutes before scheduled departure
- • Keep the Trip Coordinator informed about your status
- • The departure time is fixed and will not be delayed for late arrivals
- • No refunds for missed departures due to late arrival
7.7 Behavior and Conduct
- Any act of misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated
- We aim to maintain a safe and respectful travel environment for everyone
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will result in immediate trip termination
- Participants removed for misconduct will not receive any refund
- Follow all instructions from trip coordinators and guides
7.8 Unforeseen Circumstances
- The management shall not be held responsible for delays, alterations, or additional expenses caused by:
- - Natural hazards and weather conditions
- - Landslides, floods, or earthquakes
- - Road accidents or traffic jams
- - Political closures or strikes
- - Vehicle breakdowns or mechanical failures
- - Other unforeseen events beyond our control
- We will make best efforts to provide alternatives, but no compensation will be provided
7.9 Insurance Policy
Insurance Disclaimer:
We do not provide any insurance coverage for sickness, accidents, theft, or other losses incurred during the trip. Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before joining the trip.
7.10 Changes to the Itinerary
- The itinerary is subject to change based on:
- - Weather conditions
- - Road safety concerns
- - Physical ability of participants
- - Local restrictions or closures
- Any adjustments made will prioritize the safety and well-being of travelers
- Equivalent alternatives will be provided wherever possible
- No refunds will be given for itinerary modifications
8. Custom Trip Bookings
For personalized custom trips and multi-day tours, the following terms apply. Custom trips offer more flexibility than organized experiences:
8.1 Inquiry Process
- Custom trip inquiries do not constitute confirmed bookings
- We will respond with a detailed itinerary and quote within 24-48 hours
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue
- Pricing may vary based on final group size, dates, and specific requirements
8.2 Booking Confirmation & Payment
- Advance Payment: Minimum 30% of total trip cost required to confirm booking
- Balance Payment: Full payment due 7 days before trip departure
- Failure to pay balance by due date may result in booking cancellation
- Payment plans may be available for groups of 15+ people
- All payments are processed through secure payment gateways
8.3 Trip Inclusions & Exclusions
Each custom trip quote will clearly specify what is included and excluded. Typical inclusions:
- Accommodation (as per selected category)
- Transportation (from pickup point to drop-off point)
- Specified meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner as mentioned)
- Activity fees and entry tickets (as mentioned in itinerary)
- Experienced guide/trip leader
- Basic first aid and safety equipment
Common exclusions:
- Travel to/from pickup point (home to departure location)
- Personal expenses (laundry, phone calls, shopping, etc.)
- Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
- Meals not specified in itinerary
- Tips for guides, drivers, and hotel staff
- Any activity not mentioned in the itinerary
8.4 Group Size & Pricing
- Custom trip pricing is based on minimum group size (typically 4-6 people)
- If confirmed participants fall below minimum, we reserve the right to adjust pricing
- Alternative options include merging with another group or rescheduling
- Larger groups may receive discounted per-person rates
- Single occupancy rooms may incur additional charges
8.5 Itinerary Changes & Flexibility
- Itineraries are carefully planned but may need adjustments due to weather, road conditions, or local circumstances
- We will provide equivalent alternatives maintaining the trip's spirit and quality
- No refunds for itinerary modifications due to unforeseen circumstances
- Participant-requested changes after confirmation may incur additional costs
- Activity timings may vary based on local conditions and group pace
8.6 Participant Requirements
Important Requirements:
- • Valid government-issued photo ID mandatory for all participants
- • Medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking
- • Minimum age requirements may apply for certain activities
- • Physical fitness levels should match trip difficulty rating
- • Required permits (if any) must be arranged in advance
- Participants must arrive on time at designated pickup points
- Carry adequate clothing, footwear, and personal items as per packing list
- Follow guide instructions and safety protocols at all times
- Respect local customs, culture, and environment
- Alcohol consumption during activities or while traveling is prohibited
8.7 Accommodation & Transportation
- Accommodation category (budget/standard/premium) will be specified in your quote
- Room allocations are typically double/triple sharing unless otherwise specified
- We partner with verified hotels and homestays meeting safety standards
- Transportation will be suitable for group size and terrain (car/tempo traveler/bus)
- Vehicles are regularly maintained and driven by experienced drivers
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or road conditions are beyond our control
8.8 Food & Dietary Requirements
- Meals included will be clearly mentioned in itinerary (typically breakfast and dinner)
- Food will be hygienic vegetarian/non-vegetarian meals as per group preference
- Special dietary requirements (vegan, Jain, allergies) must be informed at booking
- We cannot guarantee availability of specific cuisines in remote locations
- Participants should carry backup snacks and water bottles
8.9 Travel Insurance
Strongly Recommended: Purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- • Medical emergencies and hospitalization
- • Trip cancellation/interruption
- • Lost/stolen baggage and personal belongings
- • Emergency evacuation
- • Adventure activity coverage (if applicable)
GoWeekends is not liable for medical expenses, accidents, theft, or loss of personal property. We strongly advise all participants to obtain adequate travel insurance before the trip.
8.10 Health & Safety
- Participants must be in good health suitable for planned activities
- Carry necessary personal medications with doctor's prescription
- Basic first aid will be available with trip leaders
- Inform trip leader immediately of any health issues during the trip
- We reserve the right to exclude participants endangering group safety
- Emergency contacts of participants will be collected before departure
8.11 Liability Limitations
While we directly organize and coordinate custom trips, we work with third-party service providers (hotels, transport operators, activity vendors). Our liability includes:
- We carefully vet all service providers for quality and safety standards
- We take responsibility for overall trip coordination and quality
- However, we are not liable for acts/omissions of third-party providers beyond our control
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the trip booking
- We are not liable for delays, disruptions due to force majeure events
- Participants waive claims for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
8.12 Conduct & Behavior
We expect all participants to maintain respectful behavior throughout the trip:
- Respect fellow travelers, guides, and local communities
- No discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior
- Follow local laws, customs, and environmental regulations
- Damage to property (hotels, vehicles) will be charged to the participant
- We reserve the right to remove disruptive participants without refund
- Criminal behavior will be reported to authorities
8.13 Force Majeure
- We are not liable for trip disruptions due to events beyond our control
- This includes natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, pandemics, government restrictions
- In such cases, we will assist with rescheduling or provide alternatives
- Refunds will be provided for unused services after deducting non-recoverable costs
- Travel insurance is recommended to cover such circumstances
8.14 Photos & Videos
- Trip photos/videos may be taken by our team for promotional purposes
- Participants appearing in media consent to its use on our platforms
- Inform us if you do not wish to appear in promotional content
- Participants may share their trip photos on social media (encouraged!)
- Tag @goweekends to be featured on our official channels
9. Experience Management
GoWeekends directly organizes and manages all experiences. We:
- Organize and conduct all experiences directly
- Take full responsibility for the quality and safety of our experiences
- Provide trained guides and facilitators
- Handle all logistics and coordination
- Maintain high standards through direct oversight and quality control
10. Photography, Media and Social Media Consent
Important Notice: By participating in our experiences, workshops, and trips, you consent to photography and social media posting.
GoWeekends captures photos and videos during all experiences, workshops, and trips for promotional and marketing purposes. By booking and participating in our activities, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
10.1 Photo and Video Capture
- We will be taking photographs and videos of participants during the experience/workshop
- These photos and videos may include individual and group shots
- Photography is conducted in a respectful and appropriate manner
- Our team members and designated photographers will be capturing content throughout the event
10.2 Instagram and Social Media Posting
- Photos and videos will be uploaded to Instagram and other social media platforms to showcase the workshop/experience
- Content may be shared on our official GoWeekends social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Posts may include participant names, tags, or mentions (first names only, unless otherwise consented)
- Content may be used in promotional materials, website galleries, and marketing campaigns
- We may tag participants in social media posts if their handles are provided
10.3 Media Rights and Usage
- By participating, you grant GoWeekends a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your image, likeness, and voice
- This includes the right to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works
- Content may be used for commercial and promotional purposes without additional compensation
- GoWeekends retains all intellectual property rights to photos and videos taken by our team
- We may share high-quality photos with participants for personal use
10.4 Opt-Out Options
Privacy Preference: If you do not wish to be photographed or have your images shared on social media:
- • Inform our team leader/coordinator before the experience begins
- • Wear an identification badge (if provided) indicating your preference
- • You may still participate in the experience, but positioning during group photos may be adjusted
- • Send a written request to support@goweekends.in at least 24 hours before the event
Note: While we will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests, you may inadvertently appear in background shots or group photographs. Complete avoidance of all photography cannot be guaranteed in group settings.
10.5 Participant-Generated Content
- Participants are encouraged to take and share their own photos from experiences
- We encourage tagging @goweekends and using our official hashtags
- Participant content shared with our hashtags may be reposted by GoWeekends
- By tagging us, you grant permission for us to reshare your content
- Credit will be provided when resharing participant content
10.6 Content Standards
- All photography and content will maintain appropriate standards
- We respect participant dignity and privacy in all captured content
- No inappropriate, offensive, or compromising photos will be published
- Participants may request removal of specific photos by contacting support@goweekends.in
- Removal requests will be processed within 7 business days
11. Safety and Liability
11.1 User Responsibility
- Participate in experiences at your own risk
- Follow all safety instructions provided
- Disclose relevant health conditions
- Ensure you meet experience requirements
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
11.2 GoWeekends Liability
As the direct organizer of all experiences, GoWeekends takes responsibility for the experiences we provide. However, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law for:
- Indirect or consequential damages beyond our direct control
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)
- Participant non-compliance with safety instructions
- Pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed by participants
- Loss of personal property not under our direct custody
12. Intellectual Property
- All Platform content is owned by GoWeekends or licensors
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content
- User-generated content may be used by us with attribution
- Respect third-party intellectual property rights
- Report any copyright infringement to us
13. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Corporate Services
Corporate clients may have additional terms and conditions, including:
- Custom pricing and payment terms
- Bulk booking policies
- Team management features

- Special cancellation policies
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Customer Support
For any issues or disputes, please first contact our customer support team. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.
15.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
16. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Abuse our Platform or other users
- Fail to pay outstanding amounts
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or Platform notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
